1. Who we are

Grocery Sanity is operated by Veliqon. Grocery Sanity helps people compare grocery deals, plan meals, reduce household food waste, and prepare shopping lists within a budget.

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Grocery Sanity, including our website, mobile experiences, browser extension, meal planning tools, grocery deal tools, recipe tools, and related services.

2. No grocery store affiliation

Grocery Sanity is independent. Unless we clearly state otherwise in a future update, we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, authorized by, or officially connected with any grocery store, retailer, delivery service, marketplace, brand, manufacturer, or coupon provider.

Store names, product names, logos, flyers, circulars, coupons, trademarks, service marks, and other brand identifiers belong to their respective owners. We use third-party store and brand references only to help identify grocery deals, products, retailers, and shopping options for users.

3. Grocery information and availability

Grocery prices, discounts, sale dates, product availability, package sizes, eligible coupon terms, taxes, fees, substitutions, and store policies can change quickly and may vary by location. Grocery Sanity may contain errors, stale information, missing items, or estimates.

You are responsible for confirming prices, discounts, ingredients, allergens, nutrition information, coupon requirements, and availability directly with the store or product label before buying or consuming anything.

4. Accounts and household data

You may need an account to save stores, meal plans, pantry items, shopping lists, household preferences, and budget settings. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account.

You agree to provide accurate information and to use Grocery Sanity only for lawful, personal, household, or internal business purposes.

5. Recipes, meal plans, and AI-assisted features

Grocery Sanity may use automated or AI-assisted tools to parse flyers, generate recipe ideas, suggest meal plans, estimate savings, and organize pantry usage. These outputs are suggestions only and may be inaccurate, incomplete, repetitive, or unsuitable for your household.

You are responsible for reviewing any recipe, ingredient, dietary, allergen, food safety, storage, cooking, or budgeting suggestion before relying on it.

6. User content

You may submit information such as pantry items, recipes, notes, store preferences, flyer images, receipt details, shopping lists, and household budget settings. You keep ownership of content you submit.

You grant Veliqon a limited license to host, process, display, analyze, and use that content as needed to operate, secure, improve, and support Grocery Sanity.

7. Acceptable use

You may not misuse Grocery Sanity, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, scrape or copy the service at scale, submit unlawful or infringing content, reverse engineer protected parts of the service, or use the service to violate another party's rights.

You may not represent that Grocery Sanity is affiliated with a store or brand unless Veliqon has publicly confirmed that affiliation.

8. Subscriptions, trials, and payments

If Grocery Sanity offers paid plans, the price, billing period, included features, usage limits, cancellation process, and refund terms will be shown at purchase or in the account experience.

We may change pricing or plan limits over time, but we will not apply a material paid-plan change to an active subscription without notice as required by applicable law.

9. Disclaimers

Grocery Sanity is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, Veliqon disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and uninterrupted operation.

Grocery Sanity is not professional nutrition, medical, legal, tax, financial, or food safety advice.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Veliqon will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost savings, lost data, food spoilage, missed deals, purchase decisions, or reliance on inaccurate grocery information.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits, so some of these limits may not apply to you.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as posting the new effective date or providing in-app notice.

Your continued use of Grocery Sanity after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
